Forgive...

When Elder David A. Bednar gave his first talk as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve. He began by expressing feeling inadequate, and then asked forgiveness. "Please forgive me for the times when I was less than I should have been."
That last post was less than I should have been. Every now and then, you get a glimpse of yourself on the journey that is a life, and you don't always like the person you meet. Please forgive me for my whining. I am embarrassed.
This time in our lives is just one of those challenges that everyone meets. We will recover and be wiser and stronger than we were before. We will be able to move on with our lives, resolve our obligations, and emerge on the other side as stronger people.
Which will be good because by then we'll have teenagers.

What can I say? This too shall pass? Nate tried calling to tell Gage he got a new light saber. Kacie asks to play with Jossy forgetting for a moment that she's "too far away". You know you can always whine to me! :) I don't judge!! I hope things get happier soon! love ya!

Life's struggles are always easier when they are someone else's struggles!! I gave this little baptism talk about the 3 bears--one of those bears we took upon ourselves at 8 years old was to help bear one another's burdens--You will spend a lifetime trying to ease others burdens--and a lifetime trying to understand your own burdens--There will always be brighter days ahead--I know--and I'm grateful for the times you have eased my burdens!! I love you all very much.

Alli-- Absolutely no judgement on my part. I lived with family for an extended period of time at which point I was grateful for their hospitality and frustrated at the lack of movement and independence in mine. I get it, I completely get it!! The fact that you can admit frustrations just means that you are totally human. I can't wait to see you!! I miss you, Tony, and the kids so much!!

I forgot... as far as the mice go, I've never been a fan of indoor cats, but I totally got a cat (which I still make stay outside) and let it peruse the house before bedtime every night, just in case. It's been very effective. The cat drives me somewhat crazy but I sure prefer it to the mice! :)

NO judgement here either. I'm fond of your frankness. Finding the purpose in things is always the challenge

You are welcome to come here and lay by the pool and sip margaritas if you like?
