House to blame for us being so lame...

If I never touch another paint brush again, it will still be too soon.

Lucky for me, I still have 5 more rooms before I start doing touch-up. I am trying to be optimistic. I no longer have to carry the paint chips, I can just select some of my hair that I crusted with paint and can't wash out. I look like Rainbow Bright.

Sorry we have been so lame lately. All we ever do is work on that house. I swear it will never be finished and we will be homeless or living with whichever relative can stand our kids for an entire day. Tony and I are both so exhausted. Optimistically speaking however, we are both losing weight.

Plus, I SUCK at doing tile and I worked on the kitchen floor by myself tonight. When Tony sees it tomorrow he's gonna be... thrilled? Maybe he won't notice the two inch wide grout line and the one with the chipped corner.

Never mind. I'm toast. Please note that it is almost midnight and I'm looney and I have to go enjoy my last night of sleep before being sold to a sweat shop for bad tiling.

What color have you been painting your rooms? I have been painting too but only one room and it is taking me forever. I just want it done and i don't have a huge house to do just one room.

When I was in Rexburg with the kids, I took a trip over to see your BEAUTIFUL home and take Colby lunch with Trisha. It is going to be so AWESOME. You will love it so much when it's done. Keep going, you're almost there!!!

I'll buy you back from the sweat shop and eventually Tony will calm down and take you back.

You're almost done...but I do know how it feels (although on a much smaller scale). I am so tired of painting I could puke! Thank goodness we are about 2/3rds done and I think we are going to take a break for a couple weeks. Tonight we just have touch-ups to do and then we can move all our stuff back! Hurray! I'd love to come take a look at your house...I'm sure my parents would love to too...they'll be here on Thursday. If you aren't too busy, let us know!

Allison I was so happy to see your comment on my blog. Okay seriously you were one of my most favorite people at good ole Morgan High. I have so many funny memories of you in French class. It was so fun to look at your blog and of course as I always expected you and your family are gorgeous!

Your house looks great! Just think it will all be finished soon and you'll slowly start to forget all the blood, sweat, and tears you put into it. It will all be worth it. (Easy for me to say:)

Allison, you crack me up. Even though it's been like 10 years since I have seen you, I can still imagine you saying some of the things you type. I miss you! You make me smile.
