Seriously, we are boring.

So, I'm reading other people's blogs and see their interesting lives and feel, um. boring. I can hardly come up with anything to post even though it's been like a month!! Tragic!! Anyway, Jossy has started preschool, which I will post pictures of later. I cannot find my camera cord. But she loves it, and she gets to go with Detton. That alone might be her favorite part. Maybe the class lizard- it's a toss-up.

This little blurry gem is of my rascalliest kiddo- and her latest head trauma. Jumping from the couch to the ottoman (which she does about a million times a day), she missed, and as I run to see if she knocked her head clean off, I watch her forehead inflate. I am lucky the skin didn't break- this one would have been a serious bleeder - and probably a stitcher. We did an ice pack and all the precautions for a concussion (with tips provided by my favorite male nurse, thanks Dave) and she was back in action about ten minutes later. My poor little Polly Pocket, she sure packs a punch! Sometimes bedtime cannot come soon enough. I hope she makes it to three.
Seriously Mom, do you have to do that right now?!?

On a happy note, Lauren now poops in the potty. We are still working on #1, but I'll take it!!!

Oh my gosh! That thing is huge! I'm just glad she's okay.

Boredom is what happens to stay-at-home moms every now and then. The mundane tasks seem all too familiar. You need a little get-away. I know, easier said than done.

That is soooo gross. I'm glad she didn't knock her head off. Although it looks like she just about did. Poor little tike:(

I never saw it looking that bad! That is pretty bad and ugly. It looks like a fake one that you would stick to your head during Halloween...too bad it's not, but at least she looks better now...and is not frankenstein anymore ;)

You weren't kidding when you told me it was huge! I thing ginormous is a better word. Yikes! I hope she got an ice cream for that one! Hey, be careful what you say. I told my sister I was bored one day and slid off the road the next--not bored anymore! Come over and we'll be bored together!

That makes me gag. I've never seen a bump that bad. I guess it's better that is swells out instead of in.

I love your posts on your blog. Don't worry about being boring. Mine are definitely boring. Oh well.

I would have freaked! I don't handle injuries very well. In due time; I'm sure we will have plenty. Congrats on the potty pooping! We are currently working on the same thing.

Ouchy!! So sorry Lauren-no more jumping off the couch - uh huh??

Take a picture when the bump goes down so we can make sure she recovered.

Love all the little rascals!

My word that is awful. I would have to say your home isn't too boring if things like that are happening! Hope she is feeling better, that is nasty, poor little girl.

Oh MY! That is the worst goose egg I've ever seen? I'm assuming from the post that she didn't end up with a concussion? Miracle! (I'm Shannon's friend. She said I HAD to see these pics and she was right!)
